Baby Gator
Sun. June 15, 2008 (Day 64)
We went to Brazos Bend State Park for weekend stroll with
Angel. There were a few alligators, but this baby one decided to get sun bath on the path. I zoomed in with my 28-200mm and if you look at his face, it looks like he's smilling at me... with one of these in his mind:
"Haha! You cannot cross this path!"
"Hmmm... that looks like a nice leg for supper"
"Should I pick this chick or those 3 on the back?"
I really wanted to move closer, but with that kind of eyes & smile, I can't tell how fast he can get to my leg. We had to get off the path, and walk on the dry swamp below the trail to get around the gator.
I put the people on the background for comparison purpose. So we can see how big the gator actually is.
Other shots of the lake full of algae & wild life:
One big family of Duck
Dragonfly with algae on the background
Different angle of the baby gator
Green Lake?
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY Y'ALL!
